Ants!

This week is all about ants! We are still looking at our caterpillars and ladybugs which have all reached the level of chrysalis and pupa.

Ladybugs!!

The butterflies were a huge hit! We will now be talking about ladybugs!! The kiddos already found ladybug larva on the playground and were able to tell me what it was! So cool!

Butterflies!

Hello families! Hopefully this stomach bug is done with our class :(.  Please make sure to scrub those little hands and keep them away from your face!

We will be starting to look at the butterfly life cycle.  We have some live caterpillars in our classroom that we will be watching to see the cycle of metamorphosis. I am excited to see the change!

Insects!

Hello families! This is my last week working with the Special Education program for my credential. Thank you for your understanding and flexibility!! We will begin talking about insects in class. I will be ordering some insects that we can have in our classroom to watch them grow and change. I know the boys have been asking about when we get to talk about bugs :).

Welcome Back!!

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a relaxing and fun filled Spring break! We will be getting right back to work as we only have 12 weeks of school left.

**We will be having a small Easter party this Friday so be on the look out for information from Esmeralda Williams.  We will also have an egg hunt on that day as well.**

Math: We will be continuing addition and start introducing simple subtraction soon.

Dr. Seuss!!

I can't believe it is almost Spring Break already!! The kiddos have been working so hard and deserve this break!  Don't forget that I will be sending home their March journals so that they can keep up with their writing at home. 

This week is Dr. Seuss week!! I have some parents that signed up to read their favorite Dr. Seuss book to the class, and I will put the sign up sheet out again if any one else would like to add their name to the list.  We will also be dressing up everyday this week!!

Monday: Crazy sock day
Tuesday: Polka-dots or strips
Wednesday: Crazy hat day
Thursday: Rhyme time (I will be the girl with a curl and a pearl :))
Friday: Pajama day. Bring your favorite stuffed animal as well.

***It is also Parent/Teacher conferences this week!!!***
