Happy Thanksgiving!!

Happy Thanksgiving! We will be having our Thanksgiving feast on Friday!

This week is a review week!  We will be going over all that we have learned this trimester!

I will begin reading groups when we get back from Thanksgiving break.  The kiddos will be put in groups according to their needs, and we will work on reading.

Parent/Teacher Conferences

Parent/Teacher conferences start on Wednesday!

Community Helpers!

This week we will be discussing community helpers and have special guests on Friday! My mom and sister are both dental hygienists and will be coming in to show the kiddos how to take care of their teeth!

Parent/Teacher conferences begin on November 11th.  Be on the look out for sign ups on our table in the morning.

Happy Halloween!

This week is Spirit Week! The school asks that the students do not wear Halloween costumes to school. Assessments will run after school from Monday-Thursday 12:00-1:00. Don't forget to bring a lunch for your kiddo on the day they are scheduled.

Monday: Twin Day- wear black
Tuesday: Reverse day (teachers dress like students, students dress like teachers)
Wednesday: Wacky hair day
Thursday: Pajama day
Friday: 80's day

Pumpkins!

I am so excited to be back! Our theme this week is pumpkins! We will be doing pumpkin everything!

Friday, October 25: Our fall party! Please bring in a small pumpkin with the kiddo's name on it that they can pick out of our pumpkin patch and decorate.  We will have a lot of crafts that day, so please do not forget a backpack!!

5 Senses!!

We are talking about the five senses.  On Wednesday, our room mom will be doing a sense of touch project with the kiddos. Friday, she will be doing a sense of smell project with the kiddos.

Fire Safety!

This week is all about Fire Safety! On Friday, we will have a visit from a firefighter! Mrs. Ter Keurst is planning this for all TK classes so if you would like further information, please feel free to ask her!
