Welcome New Families!

Hello! I am so excited to start a new year with you! We will be going over, in more detail on back to school night, how I run the classroom.  However, I would like you to know some simple things about the first couple days of school.

On Monday, all families are welcome to come in the class and share in a book and art project.  We will then say our goodbyes, and I will be giving the kiddos a tour around campus so that they are more familiar with their surroundings.

I will walk the kiddos up to the front of the school at 11:45 for pick up.  You can park or drive through the pick up line.  I ask that your kiddo tap my hand before leaving so that I know you are there for them. :)

I will use this website every week to keep you updated on the activities in the classroom.  PLEASE CHECK THE WEBSITE EVERY WEEK! IT IS SO IMPORTANT! :)

During the first week of school we will be learning:

Sight Word: we

Poem: The Name Song

Math: Explore the manipulatives

Reading: Establish where the students are at

Writing: Assess ABC writing and number writing 1-30

Practice using scissors

We will start with the basics and build on them throughout the year!  I am looking forward to meeting you all!
