Nonfiction: Polar Bears/ Valentine's Day

Ok let's try this again!  This is the second week of our Polar Bear unit. We will be reading books about polar bears and writing what we learn in our journals.

Any sight words or letter teams that we're not covered last week will be taught during our review week coming up.

I will be assessing the kiddos this week and next week in class to see the growth they have made the second trimester.  I have already seen huge growth in our day to day activities so I can't wait to see what the tests show.  They are the same assessments that we did the first trimester so there will be nothing new for the kiddos :).

The Valentine's Day party is this Friday. Please bring in the kiddos Valentines and boxes that day so we can exchange cards. If you would like to help during center time, 9:30-10:45, all are welcome. Please remember no food items!!
